life

life

A Poem by Mzsolitude

life? whats life with half a soul a soul? it's lonely

not having a full understanding of yourself or others around

kinda makes you feel close to the ground

you push ppl away but in reality you want them to stay

you dont know what to say so you say go away

but in life it's not right its wrong

life is like climbing a mountain

you wonder whats it's like to be on top

but you'll never know until you take your first step

STEP AWAY!!! your to close to my heart

you might break it or even worse

destroy a warm heart turning it into cold

when you look into my eyes what do you see

a lot say confusion and misunderstanding

but i see me standing in confusion dont cry but smile all the time

but deep down i cry inside

i repeatedly tell myself you'll be alright

but in the back of my mind i know it's not right

my thoughts sometime take over my mind, body & soul

& leave me standing in the cold

in reality i play it cool

im the definition of you can't judge a book by it's cover

until then i will have yet discover the true me......
