Good Awkward Guy Then

Good Awkward Guy Then

A Poem by Mina

I wish I could say hi.

That I could talk to you,

instead of stammering like a fool.

That I could walk up to you.

Sparks would fly.

Things would lead to other things.

Then you'd play the guitar

to me under the tree.

Kiss me beneath the stars.

Hold me in the garden.

Make the butterflies stay forever.

Never let the memories fade away.

Keeping the smile on my face,

laughter in my voice.

Stay with me tonight

and wake up with me tomorrow.
