Jerk

I sat waiting thinking you wouldn't show.

Then my face lit u as I saw you

come out of that corner.

You came like you promised

you would.

A feeling crept up to my heart.

And I knew you were the one.

It'd be just the two of us.

There'd be no drama

and nothing would be confusing.

We could just escape.

I fell out of that cloud

and realized those were

just my stupid thoughts.

I knew you didn't feel the same.

It sucked because you knew.

It sucks more knowing you didn't care

that I knew.

I didn't know you could be

                              this much of a jerk.
