My Heart

My Heart

A Poem by Mysty Rayn

My eyes never saw the real you

But my heart did

My ears never doubted what you said

But my heart did

My body lusted for you

But my heart never did

I should’ve trusted my heart

Matters of the heart can be complicated like walking on a razors edge... especially in the ways of love... a very nice expression of how one can mess up even with the best of intentions... boy do i know how that goes.

Short and right to the point,
such wonderful poetic piece

My ears never doubted what you said

But my heart did

the lines that really speak out to me, yet
the whole piece does as you created
a great poem here, well done!!
