ConqueredA Poem by Mysty RaynThis pain drives into my chest. It pins me to the wall. Falling to my knees I cry. Crying out, “Dear God”. Finally lost in my own emotions. They have consumed me. I’m drowning and too tired to swim. The tears soak my shirt. My eyes streaked black. Paralyzed by the thought of failure. The Demons I have fought. Evil I pushed away. It’s came back stronger. I have no more fight left. On the floor I lay. In a puddle of defeat. “Dear God, take me.” Screaming till I can’t speak. I have been conquered. -Mysty Rayn
