Will I Pay

Will I Pay

A Poem by Mysty Rayn

When do you become more then an acquaintance?

Have I said too much?

Shared too many things?

Opened up enough to get hurt?

Did I cross my line?

Could I have let you in?

Is this a mistake?

Will I pay?

crossing the line is easy, your heart will tell you who to trust!

Yipes, worry and confusion baffle the mind. Trying to turn down corridors you've already passed, unable to rewind the clock, all your left to do is wait it out and check that things are as they should be... but the doubt always sets in somewhere.

Short but effective. Makes the reader think... and worry... x

We all have this trepidation in our hearts over the new step and where it will lead, but you will never know if you don't experience. The only thing is to resolve to be strong and not let it break you if it's a bad mistake...or a wonderful one; it goes either way. These questions plague all in the beginning...we do need to be careful how much of ourselves we leave open to hurt. In here you exhibit such fear of the opening up...but if you think your heart is stronger and you are more sure, then don't worry. Take the chance.
