Dreams CreepA Poem by Mysty RaynI lay down my head. After I put my baby to bed. For her I say my prayer. At the ceiling I then stare. Another night begging for sleep. Wishing my dreams would start to creep. Worrying too much about my past. And the bank account empty of cash. Thinking of my job I don’t care much of. Wondering if I’ll ever find love. Will I find time to clean my home? Am I forever meant to be alone? My body exhausted and tired. My mind is spinning and wired. The alarm goes off before I can sleep. Maybe tomorrow my dreams will creep. -Mysty Rayn
