Today Was A Good Day

Today was a good day.

 

I sang today without a song to sing to.

I laughed out loud when nothing was funny.

I smiled today for no reason at all.

I danced just because I could.

I cried tears of joy for the sake of joy.

 

Today was a good day.

Aww, I love this. It captures every happy mood, and sounds so jolly. I love days that are just awesome, just because. Nothing amazing happened, but nothing bad either. All hail Good Days. And may many more come.

There is definitely an almost child's carefree attitude in these words "doing so just because I can, and I want to", and there is also something magical, almost pixie-ish...
