Job InterviewA Poem by Mysty RaynI walked in with a smile on my face I could already tell I was out of place The one and only female in a room full of men Being stared at waiting for the interview to begin Trying to stay calm with my nerves getting shaky The manager came out acting kind of flaky He had a goofy laugh that was as fake as his smile Please let this be over in just a little while He took me in his office old and dusty All his plaques were starting to get rusty As I sat down a tale he began to sing When I glanced down he removed his wedding ring What a pig I thought as he kept telling tales So I fed him a smile putting more wind in his sails He leaned over his desk and let his eyes glance He cared more about the child he kept zipped in his pants He said I looked sexy and I could really sell As he pushed a file off his desk pretending it fell I left it lay as if I had not seen a thing Praying for God to make my phone ring He made promises of cash in my pocket And maybe evenings with rides on his rocket He claimed his company was the best to be found I said my thank you and decided to look around -Mysty Rayn
