Grandma

You are my inspiration,

You are my friend.

You are my beginning,

You’ll be my end.

 

You made a home for me,

You gave me a place.

You are an angel,

You are a kind face.

 

You make me smile,

When no one can.

When I fell down,

You picked me up again.

 

You made time to talk.

If time you couldn’t make.

You always forgave me,

For all my mistakes.

 

You taught me of love.

And all I could be.

You showed me myself,

And you believed in me.

 

If ever I was sick,

You found the cure.

You’d sit by my side,

You’re sincerity so pure.

 

You are my inspiration,

I want to be just like you.
