The misery of being lonely

The misery of being lonely

A Poem by MystiqFairy
"

Very short poem about being lonely

"
As I lay here in the darkness and silence of my misery,
I feel as though nobody will ever see the real me.
I want nothing more than to just belong,
Though it seems this will never be.
The voices come and go.
Now I can see.
I am destined to forever be lonely...

Loneliness I've heard described as one of the greatest starvations of life.
This poem touched me and I hope you feel less lonely. Reach out through your writing. This felt honest and real.
