Fairytale

Fairytale

A Poem by MysteryPoet

Do I have to wait for my fairy godmother?

Do I have to wait at the top of the tower?

Do I have to lose my glass slipper?

For you to come and be my savior.

I kissed the frog in the backyard

I even fell for the beast

I loved everyone from the bottom of my heart

And you haven’t even found me

Loving you is like

Having the poison apple

You only have to take one bite

To know you won’t live happily ever after

I’m waiting for my carriage

To be pulled by four white horses

And the only thing I want to see

Is you get down on one knee

And say “Princess, will you marry me.”
