Our loveA Poem by Vivien Shapiroeverything reminds me of him
Rainy days remind me of your eyes
the way they watered when we said our goodbyes but i didn't shed a tear the grey skies remind me of your skin beautiful and clear but unreachable the ocean reminds me of our love cold and dark but i have drowned the night reminds me of the loneliness i feel the emptiness that comes when i cannot sleep I admit i still have nightmares of you leaving the sun reminds me of the happier days when you held my hand for the first time i still get goosebumps brushing my hair reminds me of the way you'd gently move it out of my eyes i swear your touch could make angels sing but who's hair are your fingers running through now?
