Naked

Naked

A Poem by Mandy B.

Next time we elope into intimacy
I want you to undress me
Not just my body--
But my mind
My soul
My heart
Access the depth of my being
Slowly--I'm fragile
Climb the temple walls
Be prepared to fall
My walls are astronomically high
Brace yourself --& enter in if you dare
Embrace my existence
Undress me.

Skin to skin
Burning
Temperature rising
My mind is a wild maze
Try and find me
Undress me
Break the chains to my soul
Connect with me--
You're shaking my world
Clear the debris
Collect all that's left of me

Melt the ice frozen around my heart
Run! Run through the whirling storm
You're going to create a earthquake
Don't dare me to love
I hear you panting
Are you fatigued ?
I warned you-
There's much more to who I am than my body
You want love, so you say
I invite you to the temple that's breaking
Once all of the guards vanish into dust
You will then have me
Completely....
Naked
