Teard drops of gold

Teard drops of gold

A Poem by Mysteria

Tear drops of gold,

glistening on your sorrowful face.

To heal that hurt,

that never seems to go away.

Saphire fire,

burns my skin as they linger.

Soul of mine quivers,

the precense of you always desired.

Lingering kisses,

only dreams can hold.

Yearning for you,

as you are blinded by another.

This deadly game has but one ending,

tear drops of gold.

The goldenness of you I reach for,

yet a shadow emerges to take you.

So willing you go into his arms,

while my own become numb from the cold.

Slowly your warmth you reclaim,

Tear drops of gold finally fall just for me.

It is quite sad. It is also somewhat confusing. In part because I do not understand fully the "tear drops of gold." Please explain it too me. I like the poem otherwise.
