What I am, am I what?

What I am, am I what?

A Poem by Myshl
"

My little ode to Dr. Seuss

"

A Dr. Seuss wanna-be
yeah, you could say that is me
Wanting all the end words to sound neat
and making them rhyme can be a feat!
Did he make up words just to they'd rhyme?
In my dictionary these words I can not find
Cat-in-the-hat was produced from a dare
120 words or less it didn't seem fair
A journalist was his first choice of careers
I'm happy he meandered, what a pioneer
An imagination no one could tough
Understanding? Ha! It was all a hunch
Tucked away privately in his room to write
Oh, to be a fly on that wall, what a site!
A true Dr. was not his claim
But a Dr. in the family was his father's aim
No one to cause disappointment

The label of Dr. he self-appointed
A Dr. Seuss wanna-be

I'm happy to say that is me!
