Inner ChildA Poem by MyshlJust a time of remembering whenI've caught myself….wondering…. now and then Remembering long ago, when I was young When laughing came with out thought When I had no worries, or any cares When your hardest decision was what game to play When your days drifted by with out a care All that joy that slipped away with age This inner peace of mine, I know is alive and well I refuse to let her go just like that She came so freely to me before So just you wait, today might be the day Or maybe I'll climb that big tree Or maybe the tears I wipe away Life's too short to sit and 'Remember When' © 2008 Myshl
