What a pair, my mom and I

What a pair, my mom and I

A Poem by Myshl

My family and I went out to dinner the other night

Imagine, four cackling women, what a site!

We took our seats, joked and chatted

And we even managed to get a little catty!

The talking and laughter went on its own accord

Everyone was included, no one was bored

Just then, I felt a sneeze sneaking up on me

The middle of dinner, what a place to be

I put my napkin to my nose,

you know how sneezes go

But it decided to retreat,

So I placed my napkin back on my seat

Just then I heard a sound I knew

My mom let out with a big ACHOO!!

I laughed so hard I coughed and cried

It was all too much to hold inside!

A sneeze that couldn’t get me

Decided to get my mom you see!

Grandma sighs "You two are just too close!"

But that is a statement I treasure most

Because, My mom and I…what a pair

Both filled with laughter love and care.
