Vent!

Vent!

A Poem by MyshelMarie

Standing here unraveling.
Please everyone, silence!
It is so dangerous for anyone to speak to me. Let me be.
DAMN IT I SAID LET ME BE.
Like a statue forced to be displayed, i refuse to be that person.
My words, can turn into fists, that turn into blood,
splattering all over the walls and counters of a broken down interrogation room,
where i later regret ever letting one single situation cause me such fury.
But its not just one small situation of built up frustration and contemplation.
When you stand for something, you get knocked down for EVERYTHING, i don't think you understand!
No matter how honest you are, you WILL ALWAYS GET KNOCKED DOWN FOR SOMETHING.
Don't bother standing for whats right. whats wrong,
like the lyrics to your favorite, humming along to the words, the only success, and admiration.
Listening to a bunch of s**t i use to when I was in high suffering from cruel adolescence trying to figure out where in the f**k do i fit into this world?
My color of my skin has my stuck in between, i have no friend i have nobody who is like me.
DAMN IT THOUGHTS LET ME BE!
Screaming at a crowd who isn't there?
its not fair.
what is your outlet when you become considered in society as a responsible adult?
When you will now  be held accountable for all your irresponsible actions.
I WANT TO BE FREE.
please no one say a goddamn thing to me today. I need that moment.
God spare me.
After I cursed your name and blamed you for everything.
