I Looked Again

I Looked Again

A Poem by Myrna H. Rickard
"

My brother Vernon.

"

I Looked Again

I awoke today at dawning
The sky was luminous bright
As if in radiance contrasting
With my darkest grief last night.

Suddenly small clouds appeared;
Soft little daubs of cotton
Left there in gay profusion.
As if scattered and forgotten.

I looked again and was amazed,
To see such golden splendor,
The hues all changed before my eyes,
From color into color.

Right outside my window,
This miracle seemed to be,
"Within my grasp or touch" almost,
And it was meant for me.

For so I thought it was, at least.
No one else was there
In my darkest moments.
God showed me love and care!

I am so sorry about the death, This is a very lovely write.
God is always there for us no matter what. Even at the times
we don't think he is. He listens and cares.
