This Love, This Hate

This Love, This Hate

A Poem by Mya Madden
"

Something about seeing eye to eye

"
You feel pain?
Well, so do I
It's just, I laugh
While you cry

Are you crazy?
A little insane?
Well, so am I
I just say deranged

So, I see you're different
They're callin' you weird
Well, so am I
But my nickname is queer

Since you think no one understands,
I surely can relate
From the pints of love
To the gallons of hate

Can I steal those last two lines?
They're perfect. We're all different, quirky in some ways.
Anyone who uses the term queer other than in the context of describing on odd object or thing does not deserve your time...
