Roots

Roots

A Poem by My_Obsidian_Eye
"

sometimes its hard to take they easy route

"
As my roots run deep into ground.
pain ingrained into the soil
as i plant myself...i..

i brace myself for the stones to move..
i shall cut my branches and burn away my leaves.
i have no use for things so fragile,

i understand that my fears my hate and love all become one when i am here...safe...clipped..

see how my branches don't bend under your weight?
my leaves don't blow away with your breath?
its because i avoid you like death.
