Amorology (the study of love)

not to be taken seriously :)

Darling,

take this key of love,

And unlock the door to my heart.

 

And even if I bleed,

 as you cut through my aorta,

 

Your smiles will patch up my wounds.

 

And your essence

 will flow through my arteries,

 

And even if that blocks my hemoglobin,

 

Your voice

will carry the oxygen to my cells.

 

For you are the neuron to my nerve impulse,

The substrate to my enzyme,

The chloride to my sodium.

 

I wont be needing my lungs,

Cuz’ you take my breath away,

 

I wont be needing my feet,

Cuz’ you make me fly,

 

I wont be needing anything,

Cuz’ darling, you are everything to me.

haha...this was written for a "bad love poem" contest in my poetry class. I would never actually say this to/about someone lol

This is just awesome. Truly.
Also, I LOVE the use of medical terminology! I think that's what makes it so unique. And its not complex, its pretty basic terminology so I'm confident people will understand and read it just fine!

I think that it is a little confusing to some because of all the scientific terms, but I think that if you put it in layman's terms then it will be a simpler read and flow better, but I like what you've done with it
