Falling Apart...

it's happening again, i can feel it.

Yesterday I was confused,

because my apple juice didn't taste bitter in the morning,

and somehow i slipped on dry concrete.

Today, I'm frustrated.

Yesterday I was sad,

because you spoke to me with such hate,

and you stared at me, with those glaring, corrupted eyes.

Today, I'm just frustrated.

Yesterday I was tolerant,

because I understood that it was only your first run through hell,

I was there for you,

but today, I'm frustrated.

Maybe tomorrow will be simpler?

Maybe, you'll smile at me again,

and maybe we'll even share secrets like we used to. 

Maybe we'll listen to music and laugh the day away,

Maybe tomorrow, you'll turn my confusion into light, and my sadness into love, and my tolerance into acceptance.

Maybe tomorrow will be better,

Maybe.

Either way, I'm frustrated today.

An emotional release no doubt, but not enough I think. I'm still frustrated.
