FooledA Poem by Nish Nish the FishTwas NOT a distraction.Daddy had a little bird, and one day she finally flew, fluttering off into the sky, in her feathers of red and blue. She flew into a strangers nest, scared beyond her wit, she saw another bird but didn't know, that he was full of s**t. He brushed her wings, and sang her songs, helped her fly high, far, and strong. Their lives were hard, but together they stayed, their time was short, but still they played. The little bird smiled, Cus her heart was in tune, Little did she know, that his was immuned. Shielded from commitment, and from truth, and from joy. His target was her pride, but her hope's what he destroyed. A placekeeper is what she was, "Yep, That's all" he said, Along came a black raven, and thus their flight was dead. He flapped goodbye, and she flew alone, with her tired, withered wings, and her heart, all torn. She wandered the skies, as the intensity cooled, Poor little bird, just realized she was fooled.
