A Feeling of Triumph

A Feeling of Triumph

A Poem by Nish Nish the Fish
"

so my dad was in a play, and he was friggin awesome in it, he thought so too lol. so i wrote a poem to express his satisfaction he felt in his own performance. i suppose its supposed to show off a slight "super" confident light. enjoy!

"

My excellence radiates right and left,

of the perfection staged today, i am the theft.

i shine with glory, as the spotlight follows,

the honor, and eminence, i do swallow.

the applause of the audience, i do concieve,

such a colossal feeling, i've achieved.

roses fly my way, and clapping hands invigorate my ears,

as the room fills with enthusiasm, i cry joyous tears.

the curtains withdraw, and my presence is missed,

the audience cheers, as i smile in bliss.

There's nothing like a good play, especially if you know one of the actors! A wonderful tribute to your dad.

What a sweet and heartfelt poem to your dad. A nice way to tribute to him...I wish him all the best on future performances.

I'm glad ur dad was great in the play :) Congrats on his performance. I just watched a play yesterday and I'm still in the whole theatrical atmosphere and I just had to read this (Oh, that and I'm majoring in a theater-related major, too :p) the poem is fun and glorious :) Congrats again, wish u the best.
