Truth Revealed

The sun fades behind

The smokey light of the fire

Blood boils beneath

Fury floats above

Coated in Ire.

 

Drown in the screams

In the river of the dead

The blood is strong

The cheers go on

You smiled as they bled.

 

One long night

Seven times sealed

Dreams forgotten

Nightmares become reality

These wounds won't ever heal.

 

Hidden in darkness,

Emotionless and silent

Destroyed for always

Controlled by hate

A life so violent.

 

A lesson learned,

Burried and bound

Truth revealed;

Only in death

Will life be found.

I like this, it's quite emotional and kinda dark, I like the rhyme as well, =)

A very strong, emotional poem. The flow and the rhythm is great and despite the surge of emotion that comes from this poem, it's strangely calming. I really love the choice of words, the setting, everything about this poem.

Very emotional peice. Somehow it calms me though. I really like the last two stanza's actually. They strile me in an amazing way, giving me goose bumps. Maybe I'm weird, but hey i knew that. Great job.
