Summer Football Practice

A Poem by MyOpenThirdEye
"

Mostly just posting this for nostalgic purposes

"
Standing in the heat
I perspire
under the suns
demon fire

the sun beating down
scorches my skin
absorbing heat
like Im made of tin

I begin to melt
My skin starts to peel
a numbing sensation
unable to feel

now engulfed
in hideous flame
I die
and the world stays the same

I don't really like the ending

Know the feeling, having played and trained in the tropics and having a player collapse from the heat. You captured the intensity. Some punctuation issues, though....

As it is winter, let's play some futsal!
