Looking Glass Girl

Looking Glass Girl

A Poem by Aimee Mahathy
"

blah, unfinished

"
Whatever you see,
Or think you see,
is nothing to you-
but everything.
It corrodes the mind
And poisons the soul,
Removing my limbs
And crippling me.

My eyes affixed,
Hues intermixed
With naked truths
And societal bricks
I humbly bow
And take commands
To hate myself
And love the mix.

I guess it's unfinished.... finished? I don't know. I don't even know if I like it. XD I only know it's the only thing I've written in a while... so yay!

Nah, don't hate yourself...hate the rest of the world if you have to but be good to you. Glad you are writing.

About
I'm 33 now, much more settled into myself, and getting back to it again. The previous about me is gonna stay for now, since it's still somewhat accurate and I need some time to figure out what to say .. more..
