Lily on the Water

Lily on the Water

A Poem by Aimee Mahathy
"

... uh... yeah

"

Dancing on tips of porcelain toes,

She billows and unfolds

Neath a cradling sky.

So brave on a languid,

Liquid ballroom floor.

Delicate curvature,

Countenance of lace,

Knowing all the while,

A riotous waterfall- her fate.

How wise she is in her

Velvet enclosure.

This probably needs editing to. Upon typing it here, I revised it a bit. Although, I am hardly ever a fan of my own writing. u.u

I'm 33 now, much more settled into myself, and getting back to it again. The previous about me is gonna stay for now, since it's still somewhat accurate and I need some time to figure out what to say .. more..
