Please Kill Me

Please Kill Me

A Poem by Aimee Mahathy
"

No, not an angsty rant... or anything angsty at all really.

"

Sauntering into the cheap bar
A target on the chest
This “don’t care about nothing”
Receives many glances.
Holes torn in tattered shoes
One confidently in front of
The other. Looking like a
Sleazy anti-Christ
With that smirk on his
Unwashed face.
With that lettering he begs
The world to try;
To kill.
To stab and twist.
To maim dreams.
That drugged heart of his
Will repel the gunfire;
Shoot him down.

About
I'm 33 now, much more settled into myself, and getting back to it again. The previous about me is gonna stay for now, since it's still somewhat accurate and I need some time to figure out what to say .. more..
