Triangle Boy

Triangle Boy

A Poem by Aimee Mahathy
"

I listened to a lot of The Tear Garden and Patrick Wolf, and this happened.

"
I knew triangle boy
He wore a dandelion for hair
He whispered in my ear
That he knew magic
One night I stayed with him
In the forest far away
We walked there
Triangle boy and I
We packed sandwiches and soda-pop
He wore a mask
So did I
That night we built a fire
Triangle boy and I
I knew him
Or so I thought
Because sparks flew out
Of his hand
And we burnt into
The earth
Nothing was left
But my bottle cap
And his dandelion hair

About
I'm 33 now, much more settled into myself, and getting back to it again. The previous about me is gonna stay for now, since it's still somewhat accurate and I need some time to figure out what to say .. more..
