Triangle BoyA Poem by Aimee MahathyI listened to a lot of The Tear Garden and Patrick Wolf, and this happened.I knew triangle boy
He wore a dandelion for hair He whispered in my ear That he knew magic One night I stayed with him In the forest far away We walked there Triangle boy and I We packed sandwiches and soda-pop He wore a mask So did I That night we built a fire Triangle boy and I I knew him Or so I thought Because sparks flew out Of his hand And we burnt into The earth Nothing was left But my bottle cap And his dandelion hair © 2008 Aimee MahathyAuthor's Note
