Embarking - a dedicationA Poem by Aimee MahathyI wrote this while I was deep into studying philosophy and exploring my inner world. In an effort to summarize my hopes for the future, I attempted to paint a dedication for reference.
Were I planting a row of flowers
None would be poison to me. All lush, dewy, fragrant blossoms- Their waves crashing over my knees. Like a wildflower meadow at morning Somehow wholly sublime in its grace, Bound by all whispered laws of nature- Divinity lifts up from this place. As I invite the Sun to my garden I hope he should like what he sees. For I'll tend it with kindness and water And give it my songs as a breeze. © 2021 Aimee MahathyAuthor's Note
