I saw a kite flying itselfA Poem by Andy MPlease No CSS Tuesday, I saw a kite flying itself. Its string was tied or tangled on the chain-link fence that shells up behind the home plate of a sandlot baseball diamond. And as it glided in place and shook with an enthused fever in the warm breeze I wanted to dive upwards and feel that current.
I do not envy the kite, because no matter how much it tried, it was tethered by inanimate force, which is just as good as being driven into the ground.
