Tree by the LakeA Poem by James TincherThere is a tree by the lake where we stood and my heart you did take. Walking along the shore, our toes buried in the sand. With a look from your heart you reached to me and took my hand. Lovers walking in love during the late afternoon. The sun was going down we had to leave soon. What a beautiful day and it will be missed. The night will fall, I will hold you in my arms and welcome it with your kiss. © 2013 James Tincher |
