Scream

Scream

A Poem by James Tincher
"

I was so angry and hurt on this day.

"

Hear my scream

through the night.

A scream so loud

the ghosts would

hide for fright.

Demons rise from

the pits of hell.

Looking for who

let out such a yell.

The dead crawl

from their graves.

They were summoned

by the call I made.

This anger builds

I can no longer hold.

Blood boils my skin

grows deathly cold.

Why does it have

to be this way?  A

scream I want

because of a day.

Do not cross my

path or make me

mad.  Terror and

destruction is what

you will have.

Just stay away and

leave me alone.  I

don't want to hurt

you, I just want to

go home.

Rest my head from

all this mess.  My

heart pounds within

my chest.

Take me away from

all this pain.  Quicker

than lightning before

the rain.

A man am I no fear

of anything.  Bring

your blade and take

me with your sting.
