Frozen DreamA Poem by James TincherInspired by a reoccuring dream I've been having for a while.Broken hearted dream. Filled from the frozen water of a tributary stream. Sorrow felt from deep within my slumber. Trying to break through the ice with the cut of maple lumber. Another unconscious episode played without my control. Watching from a distance knowing I have nowhere to go. Caught in a moment in time. On the outside looking in to a life that is mine. Cold is the air that I breathe. Not another night trapped within a frozen dream. © 2013 James Tincher |
