Snowfall at Night

Snowfall at Night

A Poem by James Tincher
"

Just watching the snow falling one night.

"

The orchestrated dance

of a snowfall at night

is like something from a

fantasy.

Choreographed by the

Angels and rehearsed in

the heavens.  The clouds

open like a curtain and

the dance begins.

It’s as if each snowflake

knows its place as it falls

to its earthly stage.

Each frozen crystal landing

in synchronicity to the howl

of the wind and the sway of

the trees.

Taking a bow or curtsy before

they land one by one on the

hard frozen ground.

No applause will they hear

nor curtain call will be made.

The curtain will surely fall

on the night dance of the

snowflakes.

I like watching the fluffy snowfalkes fall...they really do look like they are dancing.

Thank you for the review. I changed that line four times before I felt like it was worthy enough. .. read more
