God's Creation

A piece about being happy with who are.

Are we to humble
to see what is perfect
and good with ourselves
rather than see what is
not?

We can say society
created it. We can
say the media created
it. You can say whom
ever you want created
it. But are you the
one that has allowed it
to consume you, take
you over.

Appreciate waking up
in the morning and
welcoming a new day.
Get up and live life the
best that you can.

Go through your day
with smiles and love
for your fellow man.
Do unto others as you
would have done to you.

When your day is done,
look into your mirror and
appreciate and respect
who you are.

Lay your head on your
pillow and feel blessed
that God created you in
His own image.

For He created the Heavens
and the Earth and you are
one of the most beautiful
of all His creations.

When God said "Let there
be light" He knew one day
the world would see you as
you are.

This is so perfect. You put life into a great, yet simple perspective. I love the lines:

.. for this is a VERY true statement. Maybe the world would be a little better if people thought about the things you expressed in your poem. God bless you. This is a great piece !
