I'm SickA Poem by James TincherInspired from being sick.I have a fever, chills and runny nose. My kingdom for a flip top head and a water hose. Then comes the cough, sweats and sore throat. VitaminC and nyquil are the antidotes I'm tired, achy and a grouch. I need to lay down with my blanky on my couch. Rest at last and I get all comfy and cozy. My little nose is like Rudolph's all red and rosy. As I prepare to rest I count my blessings one by one. Then I thank God above that I don't have the runs. © 2013 James Tincher |
