Starting To Believe

Once upon a time, when my clouds were once grey.

Did not believe there was a god, that he would show up anyday

And answer my prayer, be good to me.

Hoping one day that someone would see

What I had to offer, that I was the best,

That I had deserved not to settle for less.

But one day I wished, for someone, anyone,

To occupy that place in my heart that was empty.

I figured wishes fail, and he's granting plenty.

But then you came along.

And I soon realized,

That I'd had all along this blessing in disguise.
