The Clock

The Clock

A Poem by itai

The world has left
the clouds behind
like the years that
 we waved goodbye
remember tears that fell
but never touched
the ground.
A deja vu moment
on the streets of London
an early morning conversation
with my father
An egg sandwich left
on the kitchen counter
All wrapped up in
aluminium foil
and plastic.
