SEND OFFA Poem by M.BabuTo those who wish their ‘eulogies to be symphonies’.I want my
eulogy, To be a
symphony. My deeds acclimatized, Into
perfect sheet music. I want it
played, Or rather
lulled. No words
spoken, No heads
sulked. Just notes
upon notes, That all
make flawless sense. They
combine in a harmony, That edges
on intense. I want the
Thunder, And His
mate the Wind, To deliver
an interlude, Worthy of a
King. A moment of
silence, During
which. The music
speaks. And smiles
are seen. I want nods
of approval, As the
orchestra culminate. Swells the
music to a point, Then
leaves, with no fade. I want such
a funeral. Where sad
is the last feeling, That people
will remember. But rather
elation and satisfaction, From a
great musical number. © 2011 M.BabuAuthor's Note
