400 METRESA Poem by M.Babu'Sprint with all your power, And your progress’ll get better.'400 METRESWe, The Runners of Dreams, On this circular Track of Time. Crouched, determined and poised. All, Awaiting a single sign.
With a clap Of wooden boards; Our muscles kick into Gear. As our Hearts galumph Forward, Our fresh bodies towing The Rear.
Life’s Four Hundred Metres, Is shorter than it seems. But People Drop Out, Bonds break out at their seams. Some Friends speed ahead, While Enemies tread close. Temptations obstruct, Trying to catch Us by the Toes.
Steeplechase through the Challenges. Overtake your Pacesetter. Sprint with all your power, And your progress’ll get better.
At the Final 100M, You’ll be breathless And fatigued Never look Backwards: At your Side is All you need.
Embrace your pace, Don’t mind your Time. And when at the End- You’ll finish in Style!
