well this has a lot of messages..the tag says it all.."‘Find yourself first before you ‘Retweet’ everyone else’s lives"..and as much as i am a part of the facebook-twitter mania,I couldn't agree more with you on this one..social networks are replacing social gatherings..and its high time that changes..excellently worded..
Too right love!
Communication has reached a wall, I understand the net and phones, etc are useful, obviously so! However, whatever happened to actually talking to the people we love and know, given a platform, do we use it wisely or not? Hmm! Great thought provoking poem love xx

I miss the days when there were poetry reading. The great conversation you can have with 20 or more Poets and writers gathered. Today we are lock in on computer and private life. In real life. We need communication and education. If this world knew real history. All wars would stop. People would realize some wars been going on for 10,000 years. No-body is winning. A excellent poem. Made me think as always.

This is a thought provoking story and I partially agree with you, while the internet has 'eaten' a part of our souls, the part where eyes are originally supposed to communicate with others eyes, to smile, talk, frown, love, and dislike, are all replaced by a cold set of text in comment boxes, but on the other hand, you get to be yourself in a different way and find more understanding friends, from my experience, if used correctly, this virtual world can be a calming place where people gather in warm conversations, even when they can't each other's faces.
