THIS YEAR’s MODELA Poem by M.BabuMechanic Poetry. That’s what I think I’ve created hereYou’re my Ferrari 480 baby, Can’t you see how beautiful you are? Smoothly curved and efficient. A horsepower like Clark Kent’s.
Baby you’re my Mustang 06, Raw power, fast combustion. Nitrous turbo, diesel engine, Acceleration deftly ascending!
You my classy Mercedes SLK, With your wide butterfly doors. And that model princess smile, One wrong move and I’ll walk for miles!
You honey, are a Porsche 911. Extra parts required! Special refill At expensive banquet dinners! Weighing your competition over mirrors.
Leather seats, Mahogany interior! Lipstick smudged on the side mirror, Exhaust pipe, spinning golden spokes! Flowing brown hair beneath your cloak!
“Wait I was talking about you not the car! They call that metaphors in poetry babe! I will bloody not give up my sweet Ferrari! OK! OK! Wait! Let’s take a drive first… There’s no HURRY!”…© 2011 M.BabuAuthor's Note
