![]() THE POLITICIANA Poem by M.Babu![]() Extremely mild political ramblings![]() His voice louder than fireworks on New Years, He barraged orders up and down the hall, No respect at all for anyone, especially his peers, Truly a Politician, as arrogant as he was tall. His shoes polished, as a valedictorian speech, He ordered anything he so pleased, The Tax Payers’ money dug his holiday ditch, Truly a Politician, as imperial as he wished. His stomach spilling over his trousers, He made way everywhere he went, Respect and fear turning others to cowards, Truly a Politician, as straight as he was bent. His sly words echoing during his campaign year, He comes once in five years to appease, Building hospitals and schools far and near, Truly a Politician, as slick as grease. -M.Babu- © 2011 M.BabuAuthor's Note
