Lacking Fascination

Lacking Fascination

A Poem by Jock Engelman

As I stay seated here in the playground;
Thinking of the bliss that as a child I found;
I observe the innocence of children;
Absorbed by their facinaction, I stare;
Looks do not matter to them yet, it's all fair;
Why as adults, do we lose this reasoning?

Good thoughts... strongly written.
I find it a shame we have to lose some of the childish innocence.
Well done.
