Till the Fin

Till the Fin

A Poem by Jock Engelman

Lost and frightened;
Now finally enlightened;
To the fact I bottle it all;
Now I'm so fried I can't recognise myself at all;
Silence makes my eyes want to ball;
Constant distraction is what I crave;
Stressed at any point I'll cave;
I wish my father was here to save me;
Alas he died 4 years ago without me;
If only back then family let me see him;
Maybe I'd be less broken then this min;
Scared I won't join him in heaven due to sin;
Guess I'll just push through till the Fin;
