Indeed black is beauty

These colours are so good
But her black ,characterize her soul , her mood

She is loved as black attire
But in her black epidermis she's seen as vampire

She is power, she is sacred
As Goddess kali's incarnation
But in her black human epidermis
she's seen as god's wicked creation

She as black is loved in books and quotation
But in realism, she's seen as trifling Creation

Yet world forgets that black is colour of today
And she's dazzling but not like worldly portray

Her black epidermis is her fortitude
And for this world she doesn't have any gratitude

Muscan,
I see many pieces of writing on racism. But what colors make up the spectrum of this earth, this planet's humanity. We here in the west are the only part of the world as hung up as we are on this issue. What of the starving, no water, dyeing of disease, human trafficking, slavery? To me we must begin focusing on those with no voice, those who just want to live to tomorrow. In saying all of that it is important to keep one's eyes open right where we are and to honor the value within others around us and this poem has surly done that. You probably do a better job of it than I. We can all try.

Yes we indeed can try to raise the issues like starving and slavery but racism has got its root deep in some regions.

black is a strong omen all by itself isn't it?! but black skin is very specific and judging each other on that basis is ignorant and something to fight with education ... tho i am afraid, for many, the mis-education received is to deeply ingrained ... a fearful and dangerous thing says i! i especially like how she has turned her "black" into her strength in your poem's closing ... way to be for all of us!!

I hate it when they show, applying fairness cream can only make one reach to success...for such idiotic minds and racists, we are barely being able to step towards anti colour discrimination...
